Ep.33 | Patriots Quarterback Search Not Going Smoothly
The New England Patriots are on the hunt for a quarterback, but according to Tyler Sullivan of CBS, it may not be going as smoothly as they imagined and/or hoped it would. The Patriots are not enamored with the current class of free agent quarterbacks that are set to officially hit the market in a couple of weeks. Some of the free agents available that Bill Belichick could explore is: Jacoby Brissett who is a familiar name, who gained some starting experience with the Colts. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cam Newton, and Tyrod Taylor are a few other veteran options out there, but each may not come with a ceiling high enough for the Patriots' liking. Sullivan adding Cam to the list is interesting, and do we now have to wonder, are the Patriots going to solve their quarterback situation via trade, and does that mean Jimmy Garoppolo or Marcus Mariota?
