Patriots’ Mac Jones “Weak Arm” Will Hurt Him in The AFC East

Mac Jones is learning the hard way that being the starting quarterback of the New England Patriots is full of high expectations, and constant scrutiny.

When Bill Belichick Drafted Mac Jones with the 15th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, it was clear that Jones was the most NFL ready QB in the Draft. It was also clear that Mac was the perfect fit for New England.

After taking the starting job from Cam Newton who led the Patriots to a 7-9 record last season, Mac Jones was able to propel the Patriots to ten wins and a playoff berth. The Buffalo Bills ultimately blew the Patriots out in the Wildcard Game, but the future's looking bright in New England… For most.

Though some pundits and analysts have begun making comparisons between the Patriots and the Bengals, and ultimately Joe Burrow and Mac Jones, there are some scouts in the AFC who believe Mac’s arm is too weak, the cold is too cold, and Belichick is going to have to load the offense with talent, because Jones isn’t good enough.
